Nicholas Patrick Photography

Nicholas Patrick is a young photographer from Wishaw, North Lanarkshire, Scotland.

Nicholas has a passion for, and he spends his time mastering, the art of photography – from botanic close-ups to portraiture. Nicholas loves capturing the essences of life in his photography, and his love of Scotland and the influence of his Central West Coast upbringing can be seen eeking into his images.Nicholas loves to travel, and therefore has an opportunity to widen his scope for finding that perfect shot. He also has a great interest in the world of fashion photography, and lists photographers such as Mario Testino among his most regarded influences.

Nicholas has worked with a wide range of clients ranging from models, musicians, and bands throughout Scotland. In the Summer of 2011 Nicholas had the great opportunity to gain an accreditation for the Edinburgh Fringe, which allowed him to access photocalls throughout the festival, although most of the photographs were added to his personal collection. In early 2012 Nicholas got together with BDes (Hons) in Textile Design student Nicole McKenny to begin work on their yet to be named exhibition, which will combine Nicholas’ enthusiasm for photography with Nicole’s passion for all things fashion and textiles, and will open in their Autumn of 2012.

The future is looking rather bright for Nicholas Patrick, from studies to enhance his skills to working with more great artists, musicians and people across Scotland.
